May 2025 — Rising Together: SWADE Supports Storm Recovery Efforts
On May 16, a powerful storm and tornado swept through St. Louis, impacting more than 5,000 homes and leaving lasting damage across the region. In the days that followed, members of our Swade Delmar team stepped up—distributing water and snacks along Delmar Blvd and helping clear storm debris in North County neighborhoods. At BeLeaf, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to these team members and the many volunteers across the city who continue to show up for their neighbors. Your compassion, grit, and commitment remind us of the strength in community.

May 2025 — SWADE & SINSE Ambassador Program Launch
We recently kicked off a new initiative to connect our dispensaries and products with local communities through trusted voices in food, fashion, wellness, music, and cannabis culture. In May, we welcomed our first cohort of brand ambassadors with a behind-the-scenes launch event at our Cherokee cultivation facility, followed by a dispensary tour and team meet-and-greet. Influencers captured exclusive content, learned about our grow process, and shared their experiences with their audiences.

Brandon Cavanagh

Brandon Cavanagh — Director of Marketing
Brandon Cavanagh is the Director of Marketing at SWADE Cannabis, where he leads brand strategy, marketing, and events for both SWADE and its premium flower line, SINSE. A St. Louis native and 2008 graduate of WashU—Brandon began his cannabis career managing a farm in Northern California, and brings 15+ years of experience in food, hospitality, and live events. He is passionate about building authentic community connections and elevating cannabis culture.

Before joining SWADE in April 2023, he co-founded and operated venues including 2720 Cherokee and The Demo, later transforming the space into Gezellig, a well-regarded bottle shop he ran for seven years. Brandon is a lifelong music enthusiast, playing the piano, bass, guitar, drums and attending 103 Phish shows (and counting). In his free time, he also enjoys watching baseball and soccer, cycling, hiking, and playing disc golf.
